Look underwater
Underwater, light moves, sounds disappear and everything slows down. I can float on the surface and watch the play of light endlessly.
I make paintings, fine art prints and animations, and I design characters. With my sister Elina Manninen, I create underwater art through photography.
I am an animation artist by training and I love drawing. In my work I design characters and make animations for communication aimed at families with children. In my free time I enjoy my own creative work, most often painting with acrylics or making fine art prints. I am inspired by underwater beauty and by the characters and worlds that the imagination creates.
